Jordan Anderson Racing and AM Racing set to work together in 2020

STATESVILLE, N.C – With every new season, comes fresh opportunities. As the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series begins its 2020 schedule next Friday night at the Daytona International Speedway in the NextEra Energy Resources 250 – Jordan Anderson Racing and the #3 team will be looking to build off the momentum created in the off-season thanks in part to moving shops, and the sharing of resources with another race team.

Yesterday in Statesville, AM Racing and its driver of the #22 Austin Wayne Self, and Jordan Anderson Racing and its driver Jordan Anderson of the #3, jointly hosted fans and media at their new shop location that each organization will operate out of moving forward alongside Win-Tron Racing. Dayne Pierantoni from Chevrolet was in attendance as well and discussed how the new opportunity would help bolster on track performance among the two teams. The 30,000 sqft facility previously occupied by Front Row Motorsports, boasts a well laid out main shop floor filled with Chevrolet Silverado race trucks, separate fab shop, paint booth, chassis dyno, and offices for engineers and crew chiefs.

Along with the shop announcement, both teams discussed their intentions to compete again full time in the Truck Series, and discussed each others goals and expectations for the upcoming season. The 2020 season will be Anderson’s sixth year to compete full time as a driver and will be the third year of operation for his team after its launch in 2018. The team also welcomed back primary partners Bommarito Automotive Group, Lucas Oil, and Capital City Towing.

The synergy between both teams carries into a relationship off the track as well as Jordan Anderson’s sister, Jennifer Anderson, and Austin Wayne Self recently announced their engagement in December.

“This move is such a big step forward in so many ways” said Jordan Anderson. “To be aligned with a team that operates the way that AM Racing does and to work closer with Austin this year is a great move forward for us. Wally Rogers will be back as crew chief with us this year and it’s exciting to be able to provide him with more resources as we strive to keep making this team more competitive each and every week. We’ve been extremely blessed with some amazing people like John Bommarito and his organization that stand behind us and support us. To be able to make this move is another perfect example of that.”
