Semi-Pro

    In the Commerce Dodge Legends semi-pro feature, Jordan Anderson came from the outside pole after winning his heat race and took the lead from Steve Werner on lap one. Anderson who celebrated his fourteenth birthday Friday was able to hold off Werner and Spencer Moseley to lead all 20 laps and come out with the victory. Werner was able to mount a charge in lap 11 by passing Anderson on the inside but was not able to make the pass as Jordan had a strong car on the outside but Anderson held him off while Moseley passed Werner to take over second place. Moseley was not able to offer much of a challenge to Anderson and at the checkered flag Anderson took the win with Spencer and Werner close behind and Andrew Carlsen and Keith Breasbois making up the rest of the top five.

Pro/Masters

    Nick Pistone came from outside of row one on lap 11 to take the lead from Scott Moseley, who started on the pole in the Commerce Dodge Pro/Masters legend race. Moseley was able to hold off the field for the first ten laps, but Pistone took over the lead and never looked back. Moseley was able to mount a comeback at one point, but thanks to a caution on lap 13, Pistone was able to keep the top spot as Moseley had not completed the pass when the yellow flag dropped. Moseley did everything he could to retake the lead, but Pistone held him off. “He can drive dirty all he wants, but he’s not going to beat me,” Pistone said from victory lane of what he obviously saw as a dirty race from Moseley. Dwight Pilgrim gave the two pro model guys a hard time throughout the race, finished third in the race but took the masters win since the two classes race together. Wrapping up the top five were Brian Weimer and Daniel Sossoman.
