Sunday Night NASCAR
The Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport Chevrolets had a strong showing Sunday night in the Blue Cross NC 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Carson Brown secured a fifth-place finish by executing a strategic tire change with under 15 laps remaining. Jeb Burton maintained a top-15 position for most of the evening but concluded in 22nd after contact with the outside wall on the final restart. Blaine Perkins, running in the lower twenties most of the night, made a strong push to finish nineteenth.
A Successful 36 Hours
When a race is delayed due to weather, while most see disappointment, some drivers see opportunity. With Saturday’s running of the Blue Cross NC 300 being postponed to Sunday night, Carson Brown hopped on a plane to Winchester, IN to compete in the Winchester 400, a prestigious grassroots late model race.
Brown captured the win and quickly departed back to Concord, NC for the rescheduled race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In just his second NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series start and first start on an intermediate track, Brown secured a top five finish.
The 18 year old was 20th on the final restart after crew chief, Mark Setzer, made the gutsy call to come down pit road to put on used scuff tires, while the majority of the field remained on track.
In just ten laps, Brown charged through the field to place fifth and score the No. 32 car’s third top five finish of the 2026 season.
Aye Aye, Captain!
This weekend, Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport was honored to host Carolina Panthers legend Captain Munnerlyn, offering him an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience. Munnerlyn, a former South Carolina Gamecock, and the Anderson family’s Columbia, SC roots made the experience notably special.
We would like to thank Factory Motor Parts and the Carolina Panthers for their exceptional collaboration and support.
