Eyes Statement Run at Texas Motor Speedway
Fort Worth, Texas (May 1, 2026) – Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport rolls into Texas Motor Speedway this weekend for the Andy’s Frozen Custard 340, ready to take on one of the fastest and most demanding intermediate tracks on the schedule.
At 1.5 miles, Texas is a track that rewards precision and punishes mistakes, where tire wear, clean air, and restart execution often determine the outcome. Momentum can swing quickly over long green-flag runs, placing a premium on balance and discipline from the drop of the green flag to the final laps.
The team will field three Chevrolets this weekend, with Jeb Burton behind the wheel of the No. 27 State Water Heaters Chevrolet, Blaine Perkins piloting the No. 31 WERNER Chevrolet, and Rajah Caruth back in the seat of the No. 32 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet.
With track position playing a critical role at Texas, qualifying effort and pit road execution will be key factors in keeping all three entries in contention throughout the race.

Burton returns to Texas focused on building consistency and maximizing long-run speed. In his most recent start at the track in 2025, he recorded a 10th-place finish. Texas has been a track that Burton has exceled at claiming 7 Top-15 finishes in 13 starts topped with a best of 5th in 2019.
“Texas is all about rhythm,” Burton said.
“You’ve got to be disciplined early and not burn your stuff up. If we can stay in position and execute when it matters, we’ll be there to strike at the end.”
For Burton and the No. 27 team, the outlook centers on maintaining track position, managing tire falloff, and capitalizing when the race tightens in the closing stage.

Perkins enters the weekend continuing to refine his approach on mile-and-a-half tracks, where small balance changes can have a major impact over a run. A 24th-place finish in his last Texas appearance provided valuable experience in traffic and changing conditions.
“Everything builds over a run here,” Perkins said.
“If you’re off even a little, it shows. The goal is to stay consistent, keep adjusting, and put ourselves in position late.”
The No. 31 team will focus on minimizing mistakes, staying on the lead lap, and taking advantage of opportunities as they develop late in the race.

Caruth arrives at Texas looking to make his first NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series start at the track. After finishing 3rd in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series last season, Caruth brings strong momentum and confidence to the weekend. His continued growth on intermediate tracks has translated into speed and adaptability, making him a driver to watch this weekend.
“Texas is fast, but you’ve got to stay ahead of it,” Caruth said.
“You’re searching for grip every lap. If we can keep track position and be aggressive on restarts, we’ll have a shot.”
For Caruth the outlook at Texas Motor Speedway is encouraging, with the potential to contend if the No.32 can maintain track position and execute on restarts. Texas places a premium on clean air and momentum, and Caruth’s progression on intermediate tracks positions him well to capitalize. If the team can stay ahead of the handling curve and avoid mid-pack traffic, a strong finish and possibly a breakthrough run is firmly within reach.
As the race unfolds, key factors will include restart execution, tire management over long runs, and pit road efficiency. Clean air remains critical at Texas, often dictating which cars can control the pace and which are forced to fight through traffic. When the final stage begins, intensity builds as the field tightens and every position becomes more valuable.
With three cars, growing momentum, and a clear emphasis on execution, consistency, and communication, Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport heads into the Andy’s Frozen Custard 340 prepared to contend and position each car to make the most of every opportunity when it matters most.
The Andy’s Frozen Custard 340 from Texas Motor Speedway will be broadcast live on The CW beginning at 3:30 P.M. ET (2:30 P.M. CT) on Saturday afternoon. Radio coverage will be provided by the Performance Racing Network (PRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90, with flag-to-flag coverage from Fort Worth, Texas.
