– After taking the lead late in the race, #16-AJ Allmendinger went on to win the Drive for the Cure 250 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL. It’s his fifth win of the year and fourth straight at the Charlotte ROVAL. He’s just one win shy at the ROVAL of tying Dale Earnhardt (Daytona), Kyle Busch (Texas) and Jack Ingram (South Boston) for the most wins in a row at a single track.
– #54-Ty Gibbs ended up finishing second, despite leading 24 laps. #9-Noah Gragson placed third, with #18-James Davison and #7-Justin Allgaier rounded out the top five.
– #36-Alex Labbe took the checkered flag in sixth, with #19-Brandon Jones, #8-Josh Berry, #39-Ryan Sieg and #10-Landon Cassill making up the top 10.
– #16-Allmendinger won the opening stage, while #19-Jones claimed a playoff point by winning the second stage.
– #39-Sieg, #11-Daniel Hemric, #98-Riley Herbst and #51-Jeremy Clements were eliminated from the playoffs.
