NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Recap:

– For the first time with Joe Gibbs Racing, #81-Chandler Smith won the Call811.com Every Dig. Every Time. 200 Xfinity Series race at Phoenix Raceway. It his second career victory. Smith led a race-high 88 laps, including every lap in the opening stage en route to the stage win. He capitalized on #7-Justin Allgaier blowing a left-rear tire from the lead with five laps remaining and slamming the outside wall. Allgaier was credited with a 29th-place result.

– #2-Jesse Love edged out #18-Sheldon Creed at the line for second by .019 seconds. #21-Austin Hill earned his fourth top-five finish of the season in fourth, while polesitter #00-Cole Custer rounded out the top five.

– #97-Shane van Gisbergen scored his second top 10 of the season, placing sixth. #9-Brandon Jones, #48-Parker Kligerman, #8-Sammy Smith and #5-Anthony Alfredo finished out the top 10.

– There were seven lead changes among four drivers and six cautions for 43 yellow flag laps.

– The average speed of the race was: 92.516 mph.

After the completion of the 4th race of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, Retzlaff moves down three positions to 19th in the Owners Point Standings after finishing 35th on Saturday.
