NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Recap:

• – It took two overtimes, but #7-Justin Allgaier edged out #2-Sheldon Creed for the Wawa 250 Xfinity Series win at Daytona International Speedway. The win is Allgaier’s first on a superspeedway — and his first in 26 starts at Daytona.

• – #2-Creed finished runner-up for the second consecutive week, but earned a playoff point by winning the second stage. #11-Daniel Hemric finished third, with #48-Parker Kligerman and #00-Cole Custer rounding out the top five.

• – #39-Ryan Sieg placed sixth, as #31-Parker Retzlaff, #78-Anthony Alfredo, #08-Gray Gaulding and #10-Justin Haley completed the top 10.

• – Polesitter #21-Austin Hill led a race-high 36 laps and won the opening stage. He was involved in a late wreck and finished 23rd.

• – There were 20 lead changes among nine drivers and six cautions for 32 yellow flag laps.
• – The average speed of the race was 124.779 mph.

After finishing 7^th in Friday night’s WaWa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola, Retzlaff remains 17^th in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) Driver Point Standings after 24 events.

After the completion of the 24^th event of the 2023 season, the No. 31 team remains 19^th in the NXS Owner Point Standings after Retzlaff’s 7^th place finish on Friday night.
