NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Recap:

– When a caution flew prior to the end of the second stage, #54-Ty Gibbs and many others elected to pit. When other frontrunners had to pit at the end of the stage, it gave Gibbs control of the race where he would go on to dominate the final stage en route to his fifth win of the season. Gibbs now has nine career victories in 39 starts.

– #7-Justin Allgaier finished second, while polesitter #9-Noah Gragson rebounded to finish third after pitting at the end of Stage 2. #19-Brandon Jones and #21-Austin Hill rounded out the top five.

– #8-Josh Berry rebounded from early contact with the wall to place sixth, as #16-AJ Allmendinger, #11-Daniel Hemric, #98-Riley Herbst and #10-Landon Cassill made up the top 10.

– #9-Gragson swept the first two stages.

– There were 12 lead changes among nine drivers and four cautions for 19 yellow flag laps.

– The average speed of the race was 141.621 mph.

With a 17th place finish in the New Holland 250 on Saturday at Michigan International Speedway, Myatt Snider advances one position to 18th in the NXS Driver Point Standings thru 21 events. 

NASCAR Xfinity Series Owners Point Standings:  

After the completion of the New Holland 250 at Michigan International Speedway, JAR advances one position to 23rdin the NXS Owner Point Standings after Snider’s 17th place finish on Saturday afternoon.
