NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Recap:
– By stretching his fuel tank to the finish, #7-Justin Allgaier won the Alsco Uniforms 300 Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in a race that was delayed more than two days. #7-Allgaier led a race-high 83 laps from the pole en route to the victory — the first for JR Motorsports in 2023. With the win, #7-Allgaier becomes the 17th driver in series history to win 20 career races.
– #20-John Hunter Nemechek stretched his fuel mileage to a second-place finish, despite leading 57 laps. #00-Cole Custer finished third, and also didn’t stop late in the race for fuel. #21-Austin Hill went with four tires and drove up to fourth, as #19-Ty Gibbs, who won both stages, finished fifth.
– #31-Parker Retzlaff finished sixth, with #27-Jeb Burton, #77-Carson Hocevar, #9-Brandon Jones and #18-Sammy Smith making up the top 10.
– There were eight lead changes among four drivers and four cautions for 31 yellow flag laps.
– The average speed of the race was 122.532 mph.

After the completion of the 12th event of the 2023 season, the No. 27 team moves ahead to 14th in the NXS Owner Point Standings after Burton’s 7th place finish on Monday night.
