NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Recap:

– In overtime, #27-Jeb Burton held off the field to win the Ag-Pro 300 Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. It’s his second win, with both coming at Talladega. This is the first win for Jordan Anderson Racing as a team owner, across 169 starts in the Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series combined.

– #2-Sheldon Creed finished runner-up; matching the best finish of his career. #48-Parker Kligerman placed a season best third. #00-Cole Custer won the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus with a fourth-place effort. #6-Brennan Poole scored JD Motorsports’ first top-five finish since 2019.

– #43-Caesar Bacarella finished a career-high sixth. #31-Parker Retzlaff overcame an early wreck to finish seventh. #08-Gray Gaulding, #35-Joey Gase and #92-Josh Williams round out the top 10.

– #7-Justin Allgaier won the opening stage; his fourth stage victory of the season. #27-Burton won Stage 2 under caution.

– There were 28 lead changes among 12 drivers and 10 cautions for 48 yellow flag laps.

– The average speed of the race was 106.960 mph.

After placing 7th in Saturday’s Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega Superspeedway, Retzlaff jumps ahead remains in 17th position in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) Driver Point Standings after nine events. 

NASCAR Xfinity Series Owners Point Standings:  

After the completion of the ninth event of the 2023 season, the No. 31 team advances remains in 19th position in the NXS Owner Point Standings after Retzlaff’s 7th place finish on Saturday.
